Apparently 13 guys applied, 8 did not meet the requirements, all the five that remained had their names automatically shortlisted.
The way the last commissioner s were sacked doesn’t encourage serious guys to apply for this position. The incoming commission will be inferior to the outgoing

Raila alifuta commissioners. They were not only grossly incompetent, but they also did not know the gravity of their positions and actions. How can a commissioner sit in an interview and start arguing about jubilee and cord??? How can the chairman be openly partisan talking about “perennial losers” no matter how much he believed in it???
