There’s a place for insect study pale kasarani, I visited a guy there today, my God that is the most serene place I’ve ever visited here in nairobi save for viena court pale statehouse rd
The land scaping , the building planning you can clearly see the white mans superiority when it comes to planning, am also 100% sure the place is managed by jungus
The buildings are just of simple design, but the way the whole placed is arranged , not even Kenyan universities with expensive budget can reach that level
Inshot ukiingia ICIPE you are immediately teleported majuu
For elders with flat compounds pale countryside, make effort to visit that place , it will give you ideas on how to landscape your compound and farm
Kueni serious elders…yaani kuna mtu hajui the hidden treasure that is ICIPE? I think what shocks the most is that one minute you are in the middle of the hot, messy and dusty madness that is kasarani…next minute you are in a very green and cool area…that transition is insane.
There’s also RCMRD(regional centre for mapping) hapo tu opposite kasa police station…same architectural design and landscaping though i saw the put auo a storey building near the highway…
That area was great, in addition to ICIPE and RCMRD we also have Kenya Institute of Special Education - you can see the original planning. ILRI in Uthiru is also serene. What has happened in Kenya is lack of planning, makeshift structures and cutting down of trees to make way for hideous budlings that start cracking even before they are occupied!
