I need your advice

I invested heavily last year on some farm products and now the fruits of our labour are being realised.

This was on Cereals i.e. beans,Minji and Dengu. All this work was entrusted on a person who has since proved to be trustworthy.

After deducting my expenses from the proceeds tunawachwa na na kitu 1.2m.I am thinking of taking 2/3 while I give her the other 1/3 in appreciation.

Note that I never paid her a penny let alone for the facilitation fee,but she willingly supervised and looked after the crop till its harvest time and eventually selling time.

Is 1/3 of the profit good enough for her.Sijamwambia,I still need her for the next business venture.Put yourself in my shoes how would you handle this kind of situation.

My fren, 33% is too high for facilitation fees. Hao wanalipwa 3.5%. If you are generous, put her in contract for 5-10% of future earnings.

I second that kumlipa ni poa but si ufanye kama tithe hivi 10pc. Unless she added more in capital. What exactly is her role?

Have you found a buyer for this produce?

If you haven’t, where is your farm? How many bags of each cereal have you produced? How much are you selling for?

Ku facilitate kama siko. For instance ku organize watu wa kupanda, kupalilia, kupiga dawa, harvesting and shelling ,she oversaw most of the farming cycle activities.Mimi nilikuwa natuma tu doo and following up once in a while

Already sold to institutions, cheddar iko kwa bank ikipiga press ups tu

So lipa yeye rate ya farm manager. Juu kila resource ni yako.

Wewe ni mtu wa NYS i see. Sema tu unaitwa kipruto

Hapana ata sijui gate ya NYS iko pande gani

Ni employee unalipa smabusiness partner you’re sharing proceeds ?

Among the pastoralist communities, the grazer is given every third offspring. I think your one third consideration is reasonable and well thought out.

1/3 iko sawa kabisa.Usikubali kudanganywa na tamaa.Pay her well and she will handle the venture like her own. Pay her poorly and that could be your last smile to the bank.

Kama she oversaw everything wakati wewe umelalisha kende, then hiyo 1/3 si mbaya… Na venye umeambiwa, tamaa isikufunge macho

When we set out on this hatukuwa na agreement yoyote,I only helped her lease, buy mbegu and fertilizer for the 5 acres, she promised to look after mine while she tended to hers.Mine were over 20 acres. With all that in mind I was thinking she contributed alot to the final output.

In farming ventures watu hulipa around 10% to supervisors, in your case mpatie hiyo 200k ubaki na 1M

Wacha maswali mengi, weka yeye kwa payroll.

1.2m for 20 acres? So you actually made 60k per acre. Over a year, that’s 5k a month.

I never saw anyone who’s this generous with their money.

so?

Even if they were would they really be asking on how to spend it?
