@Edundy very well put, but what is most important is that @Nostradumbass moves with great speed to ensure that he gets PEP. Yes in the general population HIV prevalence is at 6%, but in high risk groups (CSWs, MSMs, IDUs) surveys though indicate that HIV prevalence in these groups has increased to 29.3% (for CSWs) and 18% in both MSMs and IDUs. This is found in a report from the UNAIDS (Link: http://www.unaids.org/sites/default/files/country/documents/KEN_narrative_report_2014.pdf ). Again there is also a high risk of getting the infection in a stable relationship (girlfriend, wife, partner) especially where partners are practicing infidelity (MWKs). Those random chicks care must be taken… at all times…
