Asrsehole, that is a Tibetan sky funeral. They cut up the body so that the vultures can eat it up. So in death they are even beneficial to nature.

Just wondering whether vultures need help in devouring such “soft” remains. They certainly dispatch much tougher customers in double quick time!
Haga imeenda tu hivo maze:D
Vultures need help in piercing the skin. even in the wild there are some vultures that have specialized beaks to pierce animal skin. All the other vultures must wait for the arrival of the special ops vultures.
In this case, the Tibetans do it to expedite the disposal of the body. I think there is a time frame dictated by religion. you should watch the funerals on youtube.
But Africans used to do that not so long ago.
Dead bodies zilikuwa zinaachwa kwa msitu zinakuliwa na hyenas.
Yeah but idoubt walikuwa wanakatia hyenas vipande vipande,
To speak the truth, I detest the commercialisation of death in my community. Death to the kikuyu was a private affair and so was burial.
To the extent that one was not allowed to die in the house. If it was near your time, you’d be brave and take a walk outside in the dark and the hyenas always lurking in the bush made short work of you. I am happy that has changed but the whole burial affair should be simple and decent.
