enyewe Matiangi alikosea ma vi vijana vibaya. Kuna watu hii bet ilikuwa ina lipa rent na ku provide daily meal

Betting firms since they make crazy profits wange shoulder hio tax .

Hapo sawa Matiang’i, maliza hizo ghaseer. Betting companies walikua wanavuna mahali hawajapanda. Sahii kubet at best ni kama kubeba maji na kikapu, ama kuchoma mahindi na torch, yaani upussy. Uki-lose unapoteza kila kitu, uki-win unarudishiwa pesa zako, yaani umeffi.
Hopefully these silly boys will wake up and start working instead of hoping for windfalls.

Mjinga hawezi hesabu, whether it’s on the stake or the winnings doesn’t matter, the math is still the same. Na kwanza kama ni ya stake na ubet jackpot, the taxman won’t take away the millions of your winnings.

Hii betika nimekua nikiona wakipost vile wasee wamekula1 million…kumbe iilikuwa uongo…it was just a bait to lure these vijana

Hizi companies ata unashindwa zingine hupata doo aje, ama ni front for other shady businesses? Naona ingine inaitwa Eastleigh bet nashindwa hii ni ghaseer gani?

According to officials, apart from OdiBets, others are Mozzartbet, Betway, Eastleigh bet, Lucky to you, Kenbook makers, Bet boss, Kick off, Easi bet and Palms bet.

The list is here! Betting firms you can deposit and withdraw your winnings

:D:Dwamekula moto. They need counseling

Boss. Inakaa wewe ndio huwezi hesabu.
The math is not the same.
If I place a bet of 1,000 and I expect to cash out 1,200 when I win;

20% of 1,200 is different from 20% of 200.

Hii nikama tu ku ban betting.
They evened out the playing field , sasa mwenye anabet hayuko serious

Cant relate…

Hehe ata wewe uko na hiyo shida, if they tax 20% of the 1000 stake si atabaki na 800, he therefore wins 960. If they tax the winnings which 0.2*1200, bado atabaki na 960. The only difference comes in when rounding off decimals, then the percentages won’t add up.

What you are alluding to is like a company buying a product at 20k and selling it to another person at 25k therefore making a profit of 5k. Should KRA tax the company on 25k or only on the profit of 5k?

I’m not alluding to anything, I’m just showing how wrong his logic is and that kra aren’t stupid as the fb guy purports. BTW they don’t tax the profits, they tax the entire win amount.

There was a disagreement between GOK and betting firms on what winnings are.
GOK said if you bet 1k and win an extra 200 then the entire 1,200 are winnings
Betting firms said if you place 1k and wan extra 200 then winnings =200.
I doubt this disagreement was ever settled.

Zii. Gamblers will be forced kubet kwa games zina high odds only.

Lakini kwa hiyo picha ya mwisho ya panyaste si wametax kila kitu? But I get what you are saying, I think we had a misunderstanding on the definition of stake, me nilikuwa nadhani ni initial amount pretaxed before placing the bet.

:D:D:D:D

this ideally should be the case but it seems the gaament is looking to take everything.

I don’t think there is any disagreement. What if you place the 1k and lose. The bet company will declare that 1k as profit.

But in this case the winnings are zero so they don’t tax anything, which is why I initially thought it better for kra to pretax before you bet, that’s a safer option for kra whether you win or lose.
