Some time back l was going through some old files in London when l came across this application form filled by Jaramogi Oginga Odinga to register his son Oburu Odinga at the London Academy for his high school education in 1961.
This was after Carrey Francis refused to admit Oburu at Alliance High School out of fear that he would be a trouble maker like his father.
The London Academy was a posh private boys boarding school located in the London upmarket suburb of Chelsea. It was first establish in Switzerland in 1949 before opening a branch in London.
Oburu , however, decided to travel to Moscow for his high school education.
