Not necessarily. Power struggles are fluid. Sometimes, when strong personalities reach a point of no return, it comes down to who is seeing that issue as a complete deal breaker. When one party will definitely walk away, a solution will be gotten. Doesn’t necessarily mean you were the alpha. Just that that particular issue was not compromisable.
