That’s bullshit .Europe have been divided(and still are to this day - don’t believe this EU nonsense.) yet they were able to rise out of the dark ages when they we’re basically barbaric Cavemen. Asians absolutely detest each other (Japanese look down on Koreans - Koreans look down on South East Asians etc. ) yet they were able to rise out of poverty. We don’t need to unite. We Don’t need the continent to be a single country. We need to Industrialize. Everything else is extra noise.

East Asian Nations like Japan who also decided to industrialize are now in the G7.China tried avoiding industrialization in favor of trying out stupid economic experiments like socialism. This lead to the Century of Humiliation .They Finally got their shit together and decided ,hey ,you know what, let’s open up to the world and industrialize. Within 20 years ,China is now one of the most powerful nations on the planet ,only 2nd to America.(Who had a 200 year head start).
We can’t accept to stay producers of raw materials. We export coffee for $1 and buy it back as Nescafe for $5 and wonder why we’re broke and they’re rich? It’s basic economics. The richest nation in Africa currently is South Africa .It’s also the most industrialized .In East and Central Africa ,Kenya is the Most industrialized. Akina Tanzania also tried experimenting with socialism - didn’t work.
Let’s stop trying economic models that we know don’t work ,swallow our pride and build industrial empires. If you get cash ,don’t build an empty mall. Set up a factory and produce goods for export. These mhindis who Kenyans wonder where they got their money from ,it’s because they build factories when the local African gets money they buy real estate or build an empty mall or worse - buy a big car to impress society. That’s why these Indians are out here living in gated communities that your black ass isn’t even allowed to step into.

You did not get me. I’m not against industrialization IF it can compete in the GLOBAL market. But industrialization for nationalistic sentimentalism and ego is what I say doesn’t work. That’s what efficient allocation of resources entails.
