Safi sana. This is how I service mine. I can never trust any mechanic. One time I took one to Mercedes specialist, after repair I drove 5 km, gari ikaanza kunock. Jamaa forgot to lock the oils pan. Never again.
Do you service it yourself ama you got a good mech?
Proof ya S600 iko wapi for strangers validation
As long as you have a car manual, fluid change shouldn’t be a problem, also air and oil filters, going all the way to break pads.
Kama ni @Yugni making these claims, then I would totally agree with him, These joka joks are good technicians. But Vusuma ya Lugari ilibadilisha brake pad ya Benz lini? Izo sensor ni mingi to leave it to any DIY guy. How many spark plugs is that Benz asking for?
They are so many tutorials around, the information is adequate for one to be able to service his/her own car
Chief, just stick to your probox that you use to ferry bananas and muratina across Nyeri. This V12 requires 24 OEM spark plugs.
Myself. I haven’t been to a mechanic in years, unless I need a lift sometimes ama I don’t want to deal with oil. These cars are so delicate. Jamaa with buttery hands can easily screw your driving experience.
Nowadays with YouTube, you can fix anything. Nilianza about 2009-2010 when YouTube didn’t have many tutorials, so I used pdf manuals.
Anza tuu na oil change, filter change, brake pads, alafu uendelee hivyo. Mercedes needs a lot of tools, so nunua all mechanic tools you can get your hands on. Then sacrifice one day a week for service, I do Sundays. It’s so rewarding though, mechanic hawezi nigonga.
Niliuza S class yangu. Right now I have a older E series.
Mnatoa wapi hizi mang’ondo buana?
Ziko. Just look around.
OEM tena? Si you just ask Stuttgart the HQ to make you the service part that you crave for like a typical jaduong’ no less?
They make very good horns, you can drive all over town whistling to alert everyone that you drive a Benz.
Zitakua Bosch spark plugs. Whatever you do, don’t ever buy Chinese clone parts for these cars. Hizo ndizo gari mnaona kwa barabara zimekufa.
All 4 stroke internal combustion engines work the same. The physics is the same whether V1, boda boda, probox, V8, V12, V24 etc. Having more cylinders doesn’t mean the engine is any different or more complicated, it only duplicates cylinders which are serviced in a similar manner.
Kagege, are you aware that The S Class uses dual spark plugs per cylinder?
So while muratina addict @Josto_Bwaku only requires four spark plugs for his fifth hand Probox,
Wuod Ugenya must procure 24 OEM spark plugs to power his V12 S600 at every 10,000 Km service interval.
Spark plugs are spark plugs whether you use mono, duo, trio, tetra, hexa hakuna tofauti. the principles are the same, the servicing is the same.

Please educate that JAruo fisherman from usenge village , I know the merc he is talking about is a motorised board he uses to drag omena from bottom of l.victoria to kisumm Cirry
Sir, I think I need to call @uwesmake to discipline someone…
This is the ignorance I’m talking about. Kenyans with their know-it-all attitude assume they know better than the manufacturers of the machine.
These are the guys who install copper spark plugs when the manual clearly indicates Iridium plugs.
When the engine begins to fail they scream “German machines are not reliable”.
These are the same guys who wanted to punish Uhuru by voting for Ruto…
