In the past, before starting your first job, your parents would give you words of wisdom. They’d tell you “na ufanye kazi kwa bidii, uichunge vile ungechunga yako”. The modern mang’aa parents just tell you “na usiende huko kulalia maskio wenzako wakiendelea”.
IMO What is needed is small operations that do one thing extremely well, are absolutely reliable and price fairly. Said small operations should be run by the professionals personally (say a two man microfabricator team with a small 'shop they personally own). If one is to do something grand, tuseme assembling a hay baler locally, they draw up the big picture, break it down to infinitesimal processes and OUTSOURCE 99% of the job. Seems clunky and slow to respond yes, but bila ku outsource to said pros with strict KPIs, you can never be on top of everything especially in very complex jobs. Kama kazi yako ni unlikely u’l squander the goodwill of name and reputation by embezzling
Siku ya hiyo Auction gari zilikwa Aircleaners clogged kabisa. Diesel engines zikanyongewa hewa mbaya, kazi ilikuwa kutoa moshi tu. Wakadai zinahitaji overhaul. Kenya is rotten to the core
