How Many Generations Can Ksh 335 million Benefit and Last?

A Kenyan family has received a settlement estimated at Ksh 335 million after their relatives died in the Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed on March 10, 2019.

This came after dozens of lawsuits were filed in US Federal Court in Chicago seeking compensation for the victim’s families from the giant American airplane maker Boeing.

The full settlement is estimated at a record-breaking KSh 111 billion meant to cater for the victims’ families.

The lawyers, however, alluded that the compensation amount would not be a major dent to the Boeing company as most of the settlements would be paid by their insurance companies.

Manuel von Ribbeck of Ribbeck Law Chartered, who represents the majority of the victims’ families, noted that the settlement has spared the Kenyan family years of litigation.

His counterpart, Deona Botha echoed Ribbeck’s sentiments and urged that the airliner ought to ensure the safety of its passengers.

"We believe Boeing should pay a fair and reasonable amount to all families regardless of where they are from.

"We are hopeful that Boeing will change the way they operate to avoid losing innocent lives again,” Botha of Ribbeck Law Chartered noted.

The Ethiopian flight ET302, which was headed to Nairobi, Kenya, crashed on March 10, 2019, shortly after takeoff from Addis Ababa.

The crash killed all 157 passengers on board including 32 Kenyans and around 30 nationalities.

This came after the deadly crash of Lion Air Flight 610, on October 29, 2018, that claimed the lives of 189 people.

This caused an uproar as many families sued the giant American airplane maker Boeing seeking justice for their relatives.

it all depends, surprisingly that amount may not reach the next generation. pombe na wanawake. if @Agwambo come across such, be assured of him tapping top notch pussy, which means him frequently flying to various world capital, leo yuko Moscow, sleeping in the most expensive hotel, Presidential suit, kidogo kidogo njaluo mkora iko Monaco on a rented yatch.
10 years down the line , pesa ya rent pale leafy suburb hakuna.

Pesa ya kuangukia haikuangi poa. Generational wealth will only last if the ones managing it know hoe hard it is to acquire such. But ile tu mnashtukua imetoka out of nowhere, iyo itakua wasted mbio sana

Research has shown that , Generational wealth disappears by the time it’s getting to the 3rd generation.

Money cannot bring back the dead so I doubt the families are out there celebrating. Is this the Nakuru family that lost several family members?

yeah. The dead probably deserved this money more than those salivating for it.

Then think about their lawyer getting 33%…

the family is gonna get divided big time, i won’t be surprised if they end up in Kenyan courts.
