Just looking at tribal tensions in Ethiopia which even affects the military and police, my question is how has kenyan managed to have the police and defence forces free from tribal influence. How comes after all tribal wars kenyan police and military has never fallen into trap of splintering along tribal cocoons like has happened in Ethiopia South Sudan and other African countries. What has made the Kenyan police and military survive all these kind of weaknesses? And how comes e Kenya despite all the tribal tensions has never gone into full scale ethnic conflict? What good strategy and policy have we implemented here to prevent us falling into abyss
kutokee upuusi kama wa 2007 sidhani kama hao police watasaidia…itabidi Sir Jah alete malaika wake
kenya watu wanajaribu wasimwwage unga. but in real sense they are polarized just like any other kenyan. utaleta kimbelembele familia yako ikule nini?
ni pesa hakuna …kila mtu anatafuta and the kids have to eat … sidhani religion helps much…
Coalitions before the problem becomes serious. Like you are seeing with BBI
We are hustlers who are.more concerned about fending for our stomachs as opposed to the nonsense of tribal affiliation. Actually there is very little tribalism in Kenya apart from the North Eastern province. It only comes up during the elections courtesy of politicians.
Hehehe ask people who are born in counties that are not their “tribal areas”, my friend you will be passed on opportunities.
Kenyans are coward eunuchs, na ata uwafanyie nini ama uwakosee heshima vipi they will always worship you if you belong to the monied class
Because army generals in Kenya used to come from minority tribes (most were no-nonsense Kambas) until 2011 when the first Kikuyu army general was appointed… tungeaza na mtu wa cendro ama rift valley ungejionea especially during moi times… now ask yourself, if presidents came from minorities until 2011, Kenya ingekuwa far sana
I know that of opportunities. Hiyo iko all the counties except Nairobi. But ya NEP ni mbaya sana coz they will even openly beat you up or betray you to Alshabab to be killed
These belong to one tribe: Tia Kitu kidogo.
Soldiers OTOH belong to another tribe: Laze around, eat, drink cheaply, sleep, repeat.
Very true, the day alshabaab attacks locals are always MIA.
