i installed whatsapp but i havent been able to access it keeps on ‘looking for back ups’ for like forever how do i solve it?

If it’s giving you hell. This from the top of my head but disconnect your google account from the phone in settings after download but before setup this will force it just install and ask the phone registration bit. If that fails make another Google account new sync with your phone then install n setup. Hope this works.
