Call barring of all incoming calls then activate voice messaging by doing so you’ll get texts informing you on who called and you can get back to those you think you want to talk to. Or simply just go to flight mode when voice messaging is on

Almost every single calling app has this feature. Dig into the blocking incoming calls settings.
Used it on Samsung. Now on Huawei…
