… Kanyari showed her the power of money and she tested affluence and had a great time with him…I tell you she gave in, boundaries were broken and she moved into Kanyaris home without thinking it…it’s the power of money. Betty knew the source of Kanyari’s money but still opted to join him and bore not just one but two kids with him. She enjoyed the affluence and what money could do to propel her career furthest not to mention the soft life she enjoyed! Betty shone amongst many vernacular gospel artists and especially on the one most loved hit ‘eleveth hour’. The song was played over and over in public spaces and it made her known to the rest of the tribes in Kenya who din’t even understand Kikuyu.
Now time passed and one day Jicho pevu documentary exposed the Connery and dark arts being played by Prophet Kanyari and his ministry. The sham ministrations and almost laughable arrangee acts were comical and mind-blowing. He stole from those with extreme problems in life including the poor, the sick and those disadvantaged in society. He built a big empire for himself. Betty and the kids enjoyed all the monies from these dark sources.
After the exposè and the headlines that shook the country, Betty Bayo opted to leave this marriage. Condemnation came from all over and she couldn’t continue staying with Prophet Kanyari anymore. The whole world now knew that she was actually the wife to the false prophet.
Staying meant that she lost her image, credibility and gospel music career too which she wasn’t ready to.
Anyway, it feels like she left because of what people would say…not because she was convicted of the wrongs the ex did. Why didn’t she leave earlier?
I believe she continued receiving money from the same dark source in the name of children and upkeep.
I want to believe too that she never cut links with the occult, she just moved away to prove something to the world over that she was clean.
I believe also that the effects of that dark association must have haunted her and affected her spiritually maybe to even costing her life.
No one knows and can judge what made her elope with Kanyari initially…she didn’t even walk the Christian journey of dating and marriage despite being a gospel minister. This happens to many people and we have no idea what circumstances led her to make this decision. But we can’t help to now see the dilemma she has left her children in.
Though she tried to start over again with a new husband, a new kid and now a blended family, things have become so complicated, many feeling that the dramatic, uncouthed, con act and fake prophet is not fit to raise those kids.
There are people who believe that Betty’s new husband is a better parent to the kids… others suggest that they stay with Betty’s mom for safety. It’s such a complicated situation because in this case despite Kanyari being wealthy, he is fighting for the custody of his children because of his uncouthed morals and legacy. His current TicTok tok is cringe worthy cluttered with vulgarities and inappropriate videos with his teenage daughter raise a lot of question marks if he can actually parent an extremely out there teenage girl! He even jerked off live on TikTok one time!
We will wait to see what happens. Many conspiracy theories have emerged but all in all we will wait to see what will eventually carry the day!
Some unfortunate choices in life really come back to haunt and bite hard. This is one of such. Ladies in church, please avoid anyone bearing the title of clergy as candidates for marriage. Scrutinize them more strictly than even worldly men out here. Most of them are crooks, fakes and con arts. Beware and take extreme precaution when dealing with them.
