How Can I Peacefully End A Relationship My Mother Does Not Support?

There is this girl I met at my working place in the mid last year, we exchanged contact that day, and one thing led to the other and we started dating. We are really into each other and I can sense how much she care about me compared to other relationships I have been in the past.

But when my mum got to know about her, she said she’s not in support with our relationship and she has never said such in my past relationship.

Please I want to seek advice from my fellow KT members here on how I can peacefully end the relationship without hurting her feelings.

And how can I justify myself so that she won’t have a bad impression about me (and men in general) that I just use her and dump her

My paternal grandma…didn’t get to know of my mother till we were born… I asked my mom why… She said that those days she was so modern and my grandma wasn’t into such things so my dad wasn’t into the idea of introducing her to the mother… He knew what her reaction would be… I think my mamma was a kunguru:D:D:D

Mother knows better. You must let her go. It’s good you’re asking for advice on how to do it without hurting her. It means you’re caring. You will get another one. However, be careful when involving your mum in making decision on who to marry. Your mum will always cling on to you. She will never entertain the thought of you being snatched away especially by another woman. Same case as your sisters. They will gang up with your mum to finish off your wife. It’s biological. If you need advice about your marriage, please reach out to someone you aren’t related by blood.
On the question of how to drop her without hurting her, I must say it is not easy. You can not dump someone who loves you without hurting them. Whichever choice you make, just know that she will be hurt. But I can give you something. Just plan with a friend to start chasing her. Hot dates, gifts, happy life…kama hakupendi ataenda within a month. Or else just bust her one day akiwa date na your friend…blame her! That way she won’t be hurt so much.
