What I hate is the hypocrisy.
The corrupt, thieves, adulterers coming to church on Sundays looking all pious and holy.
Totally messed up.
If it was me only, that would not be an issue at all. The challenge is where now you got kids and a wife and they are looking up to you for direction… religous_wise
2012 is quite some time but for me we are talking 2002… thats far
How will you approach it when you get a family…kids and all?
It pisses me off. On Sunday holier than thou and monday bribes right left corruption theft, whoring etc
I dont know how to mix with them without outing them
Let us know how it goes. I think it is foolhardy to to go to church to please other people. You will be miserable. And to he clear I am not asking you not to go to church.
in the midst of atheist and homosexuals while i am as clean as @pamba
Church can be important for other people, even those who do not believe. Others go to church because it is entertaining. Why pay for a live performance when you can get one in Church. For instance JCC parklands. Sii they have musicians? I think most believers who do not go to church are enlightened and cannot stand the b/s of some churches. Church leaders of today need to understand that these days there are people who not only read and write but also think.
do not be quick to judge. some of us are looking for answers. …and one of the things i find a contradiction is the judgemental christian.
I think its good to respect other peoples views, or way of life. My kids are growing and of late have been constantly asking me why I dont go to church with them, I always tell them I have to work, but always make sure I show interest in whatever they do at church, whether they made friends what the sunday school teacher said, just to show them its not a bad thing.
At some point they will understand, and I think it will be better for them since they will make an informed choice, especially since they grow up with both options.
When that time comes I will deal with it but I will ensure I raise my kids right
true, plus different people find fulfillment in different things, there are those who are totally at peace in a church setup, and some are just not comfortable, and as you said if one does it for others one ends up being more miserable.
It all starts with you, whatever someone does, whatever your pastors is doing it doesn’t matter. It’s you and your God alone. Grow that relationship and going to church will be effortless. One thing though you out to believe and have faith.
sa utakua unaenda church ama kufuata tudem
Mimi naamini mungu anakubariki popote uwezapo kumtukuza si lazma kwa church.kwanza charch siku hizi wamezifanya kitega uchumi
I went last Sunday for a family service after almost a decade away. Wasn’t bad at all. Spent my time winking at a very hot usher who finally winked back. Sikuweza kuchukua digits ju wife alikua bumper so I may have to go one more time
he he…ati how many winks before you merited one?:D:D:D:D:D
:D:D
Fisi kweli.
Church will not help you as long as you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ - develop that first and church can follow and with that you will be led to a true Christ church
Hakuna mtu msafi hii dunia. Lastly DO NOT JUDGE ANYONE
