If you need advice go to their website, they have an online customer service help desk, The SGR will be a positive thing in the long run,the govt, hotels and tourism stakeholders should now promote local tourism , with those rates tourism in Kenya could benefit immensely instead of the govt spending so much time and cash begging people abroad who have a negative perception of Africa, thinking Kenya has Zika virus and Ebola etc, while we are under the mercy of travel bans by the Europeans and Americans with their arrogance, they can redirect that cash to local tourism, i think an average guy in Nairobi can afford to save up even if it is from January to December and take a holiday
Thanks though I want first hand “user” experience.
I have used bonfire before several times for the Maasai Mara trips and on that one they deliver as promised but those are usually fullboard basis and it’s mostly about the game drives really which largely depends on the driver you’re allocated.
Ok,Though have never used their services but i looked around their website and asked a few questions to their customer service guys
by the way their customer service guys are quick and very efficient, this is an inquiry I made last year and they never dissapointed

True, You can even communicate in real time with them when they are online, they initiate conversation,on the bottom right of their web page they have a chat window and i have seen that their travel packages are very wide they even go to Caribbean,Middle East,Asia,South Africa and these nice Pacific Islands, i will try their Coast packages and see and start considering travelling outside Kenya
Local tourism on the rise courtesy of Sgr. Indirect benefits
They have nice packages for Dubai and Thailand too.

Almanara

Care to elaborate?
Jesus that Almanara looks incredible. That has to be the one for me. Thanks @D… Mungai
I’ve not used Bonfire. Just a general comment, once the Dongo Kundu bypass is complete, there will be no need for Likoni ferry if using SGR. South Coast will reap more benefits from the SGR tourism boom.
Almanara is one of the best hotels in Kenya, only six rooms (villas) all 3 bedrooms. Almanara is the only place i have gone where the pictures taken by phones are not as good as naked eye feeling when you see how good it is.
i have other soo great pictures by wife na mtoi are all over them,
Check a few from their website, even this dont do justice to Almanara,

Iko but balozi na keg alafu cocktails ni saf cane na spirits reja reja but kukula utakula ukubali.idea ni kuchukua tu mzinga kadhaa then utakua sawa
All inclusive ni poa as far as the food is concerned. You’ll eat to your fill. The beer on offer is only Keg. They mix cocktails with the cheapest spirits e.g safari rum, stuff you’d never think of drinking.
Pricing? Did you fly there from nbi or drive?? Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos!!
