mulika hao conmen hapa. I can follow up with the right people. This is a serious issue

Explain the issue properly so that we can understand. Why is there a deterioration of health of the girl? Was she tested for HIV status because of this deterioration? Did she get any of the injections before going for the subsequent testing that turned negative? Is the deterioration caused by those injections?

It seems that the first testing was done without parents knowing, why was that? Was the testing facility public or private?

Now that she has tested negative, the questions you asked earlier are not relevant anymore.

Stress inamalisa yeye. Needs guidance and support than never before.

After all, it is just a status. Acceptance is key.

venye @epoch amesema

I feel like there’s something very key in this story that you’re not telling us. First the guy tested positive and was treated with injectable ARV that actually doesn’t exist, then he tested negative, but his health is detereorating. Why can’t he just go to a public hospital or disclose everything to his parents. This is a matter of life and death.

@kelele tuu Sikuelewi POA but

Hii naona kama Ni cancer

The viral load is so low that it is undetectable. That does not mean it is non existent. If he stops medication, the viral load could re surge, which will only destroy his immunity. He needs to continue taking ARVs for the rest of his life and keep the virus suppressed. He might even get to live the rest of his life with undetectable levels of HIV. This is a good thing, it means that he cannot transmit the virus to his sex partner if she is HIV negative. He can have a family and continue to enjoy condomless sex as long as he goes for regular tests and keeps at his medication, and eats healthy diet. He could achieve anything he has ever wanted. There is this guy on Facebook. Tal k to him, he can help, anaitwa Kimutai Kemboi, he opnly lives as a HIV victim. Link to his profile >>>> https://web.facebook.com/amtoett

Go through the post before replying. Hii ya viral load imetoa wapi?

Having an undetectable viral load does not make you test negative

Alikuwa anadungwa upus. Arrest mdungaji

The test done at VCT is only a form of screening test. Any positive result has to be confirmed through a more sensitive HIV-DNA PCR test and then they are enrolled into the anti-retroviral program.Kuna kitu hatuambiwi hapa, ambia huyo mutu awache upus na akuje pale Kenyatta Hospital kwa Comprehensive Care Centre. We need to fight this thing down to the last man and the only way is through the 90-90-90 strategy(90% of infected are diagnosed,90% are enrolled into anti-retroviral program and 90% viral suppression)
