I stand to be corrected and the in-house medics can confirm this but I thought:

  1. The HIV virus doesn’t survive very looooong outside the human body. Otherwise we would be exposed at places like vinyozi e.g. if the previously shaved (and infected person) had a cut/tear.

  2. Saliva doesn’t transmit HIV (unless the infected party has some dental/oral issues and consequently copious amounts of blood in their saliva. Otherwise French kissing would be a mode of HIV transmission.
