I don’t know much about Mexico but for starters the Spaniards who were the first Europeans in the land in search for a different route to India could not believe the sheer wealth of Montezuma. In their pursuit of Gold they terrorized, brought diseases and vanquished the native Indians who were used to easy life and not hardy enough to mine gold and silver and almost wiped them out all in the name of God read Gold

But I still wonder how there are very few blacks in Mexico unlike in the rest of the Americas??

Spaniards have probably killed more people in this world than any other European race. I read somewhere how they decimated the Red Indian population in South America by more than 200 million in the middle ages.
