Historical facts

Some forgotten Kenyan History:

  1. In Colonial Kenya, Tusker Lager Beer, a product of Kenya Breweries Limited/East African Breweries Limited, used to be regarded as the beer for “natives” i.e. Black Kenyans. White Kenyans and Asian Kenyans were more linked and associated with Pilsner Lager Beer, also a product of Kenya Breweries Limited/East African Breweries Limited;
  2. Long before Viagra, there was an indigenous locally made sexual stimulant in the Kenya of the 1970s and 1980s called “Kukumanga.”
    “Kukumanga” was in powder form.
    Sex has never been easy for men and boys to come by, and Kenyan men and boys in those days, would mix “Kukumanga” with the the tea, soda, juice, snacks or food of a woman or girl who had visited you. Sometimes “Kukumanga” would work, sometimes it didn’t.
    When it worked, a lady or girl would suddenly become very desirous for sex, and if you were lucky, you would “get laid.” Other times a lady or girl would angrily leave immediately, suspicious at why she had suddenly become very desirous to have sex;
  3. In the 1970s and 1980s Black lower class Kenyan women in different Kenyan towns were regularly and randomly tested for Venereal Diseases/Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) by local government authorities/municipal councils, and if found to have a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) e.g. gonorrhea or syphilis, would be treated by an injection, after which they would be deported to their rural homes;
  4. The first Marlboro Safari Rally was held in Kenya in 1980.
    The makers of Marlboro cigarettes, Philip Morris Company of America, distributed free packets of Marlboro cigarettes in different parts of Kenya in 1980 at the first Marlboro Safari Rally, which were rejected by locals, because they were “too soft,” and had “no power” i.e. the tobacco concentration levels in Marlboro cigarettes were too low for most Kenyans.
    Kenyans were used to cigarettes with high tobacco concentration levels like Sportsman, Ten Cent, Nyota and Rooster, products of B.A.T. (Kenya) Limited.
    In particular, Ten Cent, Nyota and Rooster, were the cigarette brands of lower class Kenyans.
    Upper class Kenyans smoked the likes of 555 State Express, Dunhill, Embassy Lights, Benson & Hedges, Cartier and St. Moritz.
    Peter Muigai Kenyatta, first born son of Kenya’s first President, Jomo Kenyatta, an Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for Juja constituency in Jomo Kenyatta’s Kenya, used to smoke Ten Cent, Nyota and Rooster, and loved all three cigarette brands. His contemporaries who smoked the likes of 555 State Express, Dunhill, Embassy Lights, Benson & Hedges, Cartier and St. Moritz, used to laugh at Peter Muigai Kenyatta and make fun of Peter Muigai Kenyatta, but he was not bothered and continued smoking Ten Cent, Nyota and Rooster.

Kungumanga folks not kukumanga. Also known as nutmeg,not only adds bursts of flavours to your drinks and delicacies, but its sweet aroma works as an enticing aphrodisiac spice, which is also known as viagra for women,sio ya machali,helps in calming the nervous system and improves blood circulation to the nyaus.Relievs joint pain, swelling and inflammation by healing nerves,improves sleep,digestion and good for sleep

Kukumanga is a Old wives tale.

Nimeongea on a nutritional/scientific point of view not in a bonoboesque situweshen:cool:
