Which garage would you recommend to have the clutch replaced on a Toyota Hilux?

Clutch replacement is basic… just buy the clutch yourself and pay well for the labor.

OP kwani ameshika gari for the 1st time. But never judge. Me i found a Honda Specialist hapo TRM anaitwa Isaac…thats where i have my car serviced and repaired…its good to find a mechanic who specializes in your car brand

Honda CVTs are reliable asf. Sio CVT zote ni mbaya. Toyota CVTs are also reliable. Nissan CVTs ndo zina shida. Hizo usijaribu kuguza kapsaa. Utalilia kwa choo.
From my experience there are no reliable cvts. I have experience with Toyota and the CVT is a piece of shit. They work for small cars 1200kg or less but you can expect it will become increasingly inefficient and eventually fail. The only reason cvts are used is because of the cost of manufacture. They are inherently inferior to a real automatic and in western countries where users know the difference, manufacturers don’t sell them.

If you want an automatic, get a Mazda. Their cars have very good automatic transmissions. They were using CVT but then ditched it completely after it became problematic.
Just buy a genuine one then most mechanic can replace.
So I managed to get the clutch + pressure plate but now the transmission has issues. Gear one and four pop right out after engaging. The Mech who replaced the clutch disassembled the transmission and had me replace the synchronizers and what not. The issue has still persisted despite the repairs. Any recommendations for garages that do transmission repairs?
Was the replacement done by a qualified mech? Seems mech alifanya shoddy work.
Yes the mech was qualified. Looking for a gearbox specialist as a new one is too expensive.
Dont you find it ironical that the transmission has begun problems after the mech disassembled it?

Gear four originally had issues. But now after clutch replacement it got worse.
