Today i wanted to change the firmware of my router to Openwrt. However, its like nilitumia wrong image coz after kumaliza ili brick. It’s turning on but inashinda iki blink tu. It’s not broadcasting wifi. Browsing the net for solutions ninaona methods za ku unbrick but sizielewi. Ziko technical sana.
Nauliza kama kuna mtu anajua easiest way of unbricking it. Thanks
Fuata hiyo the hard way unahepa utajifundisha a lot
The reason nilitaka kuihepa ni kwsababu it requires some pins, solder…etc things I’ve only seen mafundi wa redio wakitumia. But nikikosa namna itabidi nifuate that hard way
Tumia laymans language, maybe i can be of help
Okay, I read somewhere that upgrading router can improve performance, and unlock a multitude of features previously unavailable, instantly turning your cheap router into a powerhouse. It also makes the router be compatible with more modems. I bought recently an alcatel modem that i realised later was not compatible with the router. That’s why today i upgraded my TL - MR3220 router with openwrt firmware. But I don’t know what went wrong coz from then imekataa ku create wifi.
That’s why i wanted you guys to assist in unbricking it coz the methods ive read kwa net naona kama ni technical sana. The method I’ve seen involved pins, sijui tftp server, solder…
This is the link of the method I’ve seen so far of unbricking the router
The African Hacker: Debricking TL-MR3220 3G/4G Wireless N Router
U’ll have to configure the settings again, the modem might be working. Which line/subscriber are you using?
its the only way, no short cut, but jaribu kureset, b4 uanze story na soldering
Factory reset.
Kunakashimo kadogo hapo nyuma chukua pin ulong press for 5 seconds
i dont think it is the modem, the router is the one which comes with limited compatibility to certain new modems, so no settings would work, the only way is to change the firmware with that modem support
wont work, ajaribu 30-30-30 reset method, but ka iko bricked kabisa asome how to unbrick using a cable.
You need to establish a serial connection using USB to TTL cable. I’d written a post last year on how to unbrick a 3420. Also consider the time, effort, cost of tools to repair it. The router can’t be more than 3K.
It’s not working. It’s not possible to configure the router if it’s not communicating with the pc
Long pressing haifanyi. Ata iki reset bado it’s not creating WiFi
I’ll just buy another one instead ya kujisumbua tu sana
niuzie iyo mzoga
