Help Me Understand?

Uhuru calls himself a business man but I’m starting to believe that he doesn’t have the gumption of his father. Mama Ngina has softened the President too much that the guy comes on National tv to vent out his frustrations.

Anyway to my point. Help me understand why Uhuru totally failed to reset the archaic government structure… here are a couple ideas that can try and save this country from the perpetual cycle of being ferked.

The Ministry of Transport receives the highest amount of money from the budget and that money goes to build Chinese engineering firms. This is not sustainable.

The solution here to form a Civil Corps of Engineers Ministry that will be solely responsible for building roads, dams, demolishing illegal structures, cleaning ecosystems, desilting rivers and also expanding them, building ports, and railroads. If something needs building in Kenya they’re the ones to call…This in turn will save the country billions of shillings yearly in savings that can be channeled elsewhere in government. Plus the advantages of such a ministry will be smart knowledgeable people actually giving us infrastructure at an affordable cost using innovative materials etc. The role of the Ministry of Transport will be mandated to focus on improving safety standards on the road, ports, railroads and at the airports, investigation of accidents, and ensure that the nation has adequate infrastructure for the next 100 years.

Office of Accountability and Personnel Accreditation

This ministry will be in charge of training government employees from all sectors of government both county and national. This office will mandate that all government employees be periodically tested to ensure they have not been compromised through corruption or other vices. Failing to achieve accreditation from this ministry means you’ll be unfit to work in any government departments. Only people exempted are elected officials. By having such a facility government would have trust worthy employees who would deliver essential and efficient services to the public.

The Public-Private Pension Corporation

This office would bring together public and private pension funds under one umbrella giving the government a vehicle to use in effectively investing these locked up billions of retirees funds. Like building of factories, convention centers, affordable housing, mass rapid transport systems. Plus this corporate would be totally different from NSSF because workers funds will have government guarantee of security even if the ventures fail. Plus corruption or stealing of pension from this corporation will incur heavy prosecutions charges.

The Ministry of Commerce and Trade

We need to have such a ministry whose sole focus will be how to grow the economy. I know we have a ministry for trade and industrialization but that’s not powerful enough. With a ministry of Commerce their job would be to provide jobs and opportunities for Kenyans by stimulating a conducive environment for economic growth and improve the standard of living for all Kenyans. That doesn’t involve OVER TAXATION!

With a such Ministry in place we can properly negotiate better trade deals that will protect our National interests first. Something that is unable to be done at the treasury.

The Building&Materials Administration Office

This office will be in charge of preserving, renovating, and building government buildings. This office will be runned by skilled architects with vast knowledge of upcoming modern construction trends and technologies. They’ll also offer private real estate developers with building plans and architects if they’re unable to afford these services. This office would also seamlessly regualize building codes for all the counties so that it’s easier of developers to build structures and get approvals easily through an e-registry platform. With a properly functional office like this we can reduce the number of unsafe buildings and unskilled fakes in the construction industry.

You already got all the answers…there is nothing to help you understand.

If only you had tagged the incognito handle @spear … Hii maneno ungeiskia na maCS na ma PS kadhaa…
Believe me like a doktor. But not from shaina!

You are on to something. We have concentrated too much on the hardware and too little on the software.

Good line of thinking sir.

good stuff right there!
