Help me comprehend this: What is Iran's beef with Israel?

Apart from the allahu akbar pseudopiety of supporting an opressed muumin. Can’t they accept that Israel is there to stay? Yes, the history of Israel’s creation did not please anybody but is it worth still dying over? They spend billions on warfare and funding rebels, they get sanctions that all make their people live below their pitential

Iran was an Israeli ally during the first war in 1948 and 1967. Iranian supported them. After Iranian revolution Israeli threw Iranian under the bus.

Israel threw them under the bus because Ayatollah started a Shiite expansionist and supremacist policy and defeating Israel was the medal that would give him legitimacy across Arab world

What is Iran’s beef with Israel ? in one simplified paragraph that a kawaida nyeuthi can understand

AI:

Iran’s hostility toward Israel stems from ideological, religious, and geopolitical tensions. The Iranian regime, dominated by Shiite Islamist hardliners, views Israel as an illegitimate “Zionist entity” occupying Muslim land and opposes its existence on principle. Additionally, Iran supports anti-Israel militant groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, using them as proxies to challenge Israeli and Western influence in the Middle East. The rivalry is also fueled by Israel’s close ties with Iran’s adversaries, particularly the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, making the conflict a key battleground for regional dominance.

Iran doesn’t believe Israel, as a state, should exist. That’s a pretty hardline position to take, gotta be honest..

In the Iranian revolution the pro west liberal ruler, the Shah, was overthrown by radical anti west islamists led by the Ayatollah. That is how the Israeli - Iran relationship ended. That is also how iran’s relationship with the west ended and Iran became a pariah state.

The Shah was a west puppy. He had given away Iran’s wealth. Ayatollah’s revolution was groundbreaking and gave Iran’s wealth back to Iran

There’s a lot of poverty in Iran despite them being one of the major oil producers. The people were infact more prosperous before the Ayatollahs.

Iran’s wealth only benefits the Ayatollahs running a repressive regime, and I suspect most Iranians want a regime change

Let me explain to you in a language that pleases the lord. THe line in blue represents about 90% of the muslim land empire. A contiguous one with over a billion people, and the economic resources and potential to overshadow every other empire in the histroy of mankind. israel splits that empire in half. Not only that, it creates a launch base from which military and intelligence activity can be carried out. As long as the country is there, it will keep a muslim empire from developing to its full might for the next 1000 years.

The west are not foolish, they spend billions of dollars every year to study “history”. it’s not that they have a fetish for artefacts or because they think historical objects look cute, it’s becuase the human of 5000 years ago is the human of today. Whatever they did thousands of years ago is what they will do today.

They understand where one empire rises, another falls. They also known and have known for a long time they are in decline. But they are not going to submit to a brownies and tueban wearers. Thier goal is to fall together with everyone so that the next time they rebuild they will still be on top and no one will be above them

Understood. Your thesis assumes a unified umma which we know is not the case

yeah because israel provides a convenient base of operation to run interferenece on the so called umma. Also it’s just common sense. The only reason the arab world is not linked by a road network is because it would have to go through israel which would make money off the muslims and that cannot be allowed.

My map is not even accurate enough, north to souuth, east to west, it would be the biggest wempire ever longitudinally and latitudinally. That’s why it’s important to keep them busy

There is a deep ideological disconnect between Shiite and Sunni

In prehistoric tablets, Marduk declared that his time to ascend to the rulership of the earth/heavens had arrived. The Council of the gods met the claim with great resistance.

First war at ground zero – ‘instruments of war are deployed; the wind blows, the venomous sandstorm vapour away from Marduk’s territory. The gods agree to Marduk’s claim to rulership. They grant him the title of “Lord of the Universe”

Babylonian Exile (586 BCE): The Kingdom of Judah was conquered by the Babylonians, leading to the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple. Many Israelites were exiled to Babylon. …..Who….?

Both Jews and Arabs share a common Semitic heritage – the same language family. Persian is part of the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. Did they worship a different pantheon of gods?

In Psalm 110:4, Melchizedek is referenced as a priest forever, establishing a priestly order that is distinct from the Levitical priesthood.

The Book of Hebrews elaborates on Melchizedek, emphasizes the superiority of the priesthood over the Levitical priesthood. The staff must pass over to another ORDER. Will those holding it voluntarily pass it on, or will they fight to hold on to it, even if it includes the death of 1000s of Genz’s in little obscure countries.
