I was checking through my google photos on my google account and realized someone is using teh phone since my account is populated by photos of the people who must have stolen teh phone (obviously they did not bother to sign into the phonewith their account!). Also realized my emails and stuff like contacts keep getting deleted!
1: I cant seem to get teh location where these photos are taken even if I do exif file check through photo properties or any of teh online exif file checkers…(they must have switched off teh gps)…does anyone knwo how I can do this?

and secondly
2: Am i able to remove thsi phoen from my account in google???

 1. Didn’t you have an anti-virus or security app on it to label it stolen and have it disabled?

Kama umeshindwa. Tafuta CID atakufanyia hiyo kazi chap chap.

wait before you change the google password… go to android device manager(if its android) https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager . if the device is still connected to your Google account it will list it hapo with these options

plus the location will be circled in the map. kama hutaki simu tena you can erase it. kama unataka kumtenda you can lock it na if your phone was on Android 5.1.1 then hata akifactory reset he still has to ulock it with your google account which ni swara kwake. hope this helps

Didn’t know if Android could work like icloud.

yeah Lollipop version 5.1.1 got that feature. thats why people should always upgrade when kuna new features. kama your phone haina offical upgrade from manufacture then install a custom rom if available. since custom roms are flashed via custom recoveries a thief can simply wipe the system from the custom recovery. to avoid this once you flash your rom before you install stuff, encrypt the device and have a lockscreen password so that the custom recovery will require the lockscreen password to be able to flash otherwise he will remain with a brick kwa mkono…

encryption can be found at settings-security

Thank you very much @Deorro. I tried what you indicated above and I think it is my best option. Unfortunately, the motherfuckers have switched off the GPS so cant track the device. Neither do I think erase can work when it is offgrid. My best option is therefore to remove the device from my account which I think removes the device from my google account and hopefully they cant mees with my account anymore…
Something I learnt also, I can Install the Android Lost app remotely via Google Play in my browser and it will be installed on my lost phone remotely.

si you erase the device ili data ziende bwana ama just lock it

if you just remove the device they will remain with your data. this might haunt you 5 years later. so just erase the device kama umeamua kuwaachilia

hizi customs roms roms naeza download wapi n how does one select the best for for his phone pamoja na kufanya upgrade ya android version?
