Watched this documentary yesterday.
It was pretty good, cleared up a lot of the murkiness surrounding what’s going on in Syria. But you will get upset seeing kids killed or hurt in the civil war.
Was watching “The boy who started the Syrian war” documentary today on Aljazeera and believe me there are a lot of grey areas on the reasons why the war started in the first place.
Ati ISIS is a creation of Assad :D:D
I will watch it because I’m open minded, but something tells me to expect a lot of western propaganda bs.
Syrians allowed themselves to be used as pawns. They made their bed, let them lie in it.
Aljazeera documentaries are more plausible at least.
The US destabilized Iraq and the guy they put in charge sacked 250k Baath soldiers who were affiliated with sadam. As if that was not enough, they went and started arming rebels in Syria and this was the remaining 50% needed to form ISIS. Funny that they can try to put the blame on Asad.
True, but if you get documentaries by Press TV they are fairly unbiased and impartial. Nowadays I avoid the BBC, CNN documentaries. Even Aljazeera I watch with a skeptical eye since I know they are trying to counter the narratives of the two already mentioned in the process the truth may be killed.
This must have been one of the biggest blunders ever. Yaani all those hundreds of thousands of trained soldiers who got sacked when the Iraqi Army was dissolved were just expected to go back to their wives and be good boys…unbelievable.
Alafu Obama just pulled out US soldiers and left a weakened, corrupt and ill trained Iraqi army and there were so many ghost soldiers in that already weak army.
The guy was required to pull out by a certain date…regardless of who was president, the US would have to have left. I do blame him for not interceding earlier in Syria when Assad started bombing civilians, leave alone using chemical warfare on them
US used the Sunni Awakening Council to crash Al Qaeda in Iraq.Nouri Al Malaki as premier refused to take them into Iraq Army…armed, well trained and jobless.Way back in 2014 the iraqi army could not dare set foot in Fallujah as the al qaeda in iraq controlled the area…
Arab spring spread to Syria and al qaeda moved in as a back up.
Al Qaeda in iraq were more brutal and this forced Ayman al Zawahiri to condemn them…slowly ISIS was born…
