I’m slowly starting to think that God and the devil do not exist in the form that most people/religion portray them. God and Satan live in every living thing in spirit form. People just have more of one than the other. Murderers, rapists, criminals, etc have more Satan in them and the opposite. The devil is not in hell, he/she/it lives in people that you meet in the streets everyday. God and Satan are spirits that live in us. You have seen God and Satan many times over, in other people’s actions and words. Assuming that history’s depiction of Hitler, Mussolini, Idi Amin, etc is accurate, those were devils incarnate. Just a thought.
So Man has no capability for evil deeds or good deeds on his own?
You can’t say that because he is inseparable from the dominant spirit in him. It is woven in his soul. If a man does evil things, he is inherently evil. You can’t separate him from the evil spirit in him. The same way a shoplifter cannot blame his left hand for doing the actual deed.

To make my question more pointed:
What would man do without either influences… Meaning without the Devil’s or God’s influence, would man just sit like a zombie or would he still do either good or evil on his own accord?
Depends on which spirit you feed the most that’ll manifest itself…remember the two wolves,one good one a total arse hole?

in my culture (kiuk n entire gema), we do not have Satan, we even dont have a name for satan. what is have is “ngoma” (spirit), which can either be bad spirit (Ngoma njũ ru) or good spirit (ngoma njega). my guess is that many traditional african cultures did not have anything like satan but they believed there is a God.

you do realize our neighbors up north had a kingdom linked with King Solomon also they is enough evidence that Ancient Egypt did exist and the Roman empire.

Archeologist are yet to find proof that King Solomon existed, they have proof of his father David the warlord, but none of Solomon, Ancient Egypt and Roman empire existed.
