Reminds of an incident where, just out of college, I attended some interview in sales and marketing. Entering the interview room, there was a panel of four men. I quickly checked out the fellows one after the other. One had clearly tired shoes that had not seen shoe polish for a while, one had a crumpled coat (those that go for 50 shillings), the other was evidently hungry (the kind of chronic hunger that affects even the hair), and the last one seemed to have dropped in from some mjengo kibarua somewhere, still sweating with white dust on his hair. My judgement; these fellows needed the job more than I did. I excused myself briefly to pick a call and disappeared for good.

Hahahahaha hiyo ni kali. I keep on hearing they make a lot of money but personally I don’t know anyone who has made any. Some of my friends and relas “invested” and walked away empty handed.
