But there’s something seriously wrong with those mongrels who call themselves engineers in the County Government Housing Department and the County National Construction Authority offices. Kazi ni kula mirungura tu . Mbona hizi nyumba huporomoka Kiambu pekee?
I do not think the issue in kiambu in most cases in individual compromises. I think due to the increased development each with its own sewerage, soak pit etc , the land has become unstable.
the failure is on the county for failing to do sewer systems and lack of proper individual geo-surveys though developers are charged for this.
Kiambu kuna shida…kuna building ilianza kujengwa last year next to the county office’s apo juja…wakati inaelekea kuisha ndio watu wa the same county wanasema inafaa kubomolewa…niko apo nashindwa nyumba walienda home usiku wakaipata apo next day ama niaje ju WTF:mad: na saa iyo ni one of the tallest building apo iyo area… awa wasee wana kuwanga na jokes mbaya
At least no loss of life. But if the developer took shortcuts to try maximize undeserved profits, then the loss is simply taking it back. The free market always strives for balance
I agree with you, have worked with Chinese and Europeans before, when they are in charge, you can’t go to a construction site without Safety gears( helmets and safety boots), wanakurudishanga, na wanakuambia lazima ukuje in full gear…
Now can’t even begin to have a conversation on why “engineers” would walk into a building clearly on the verge of collapsing! What the hell, what happened to engineering ethics! This can be a long discussion without an end
