Today marks Two years since @admin posted the maiden thread in 2014.
-this second year has seen tremendous growth with handles hitting the 10000 mark.
-we have also seen ‘bingwa’ group grow to about 25% of all handles ( all hail the scrotum)
-the emergence of one @introvert has refreshened the village’s view of osungu, oswahili and other issues through his hillarious cartoons.
-this second year we have seen the emergence of Custom Titles, @uwesmake the VS being the first talker to earn the title.
this village happens to share a birthday with @Fala 12 to who this year has been intersting and challenging.
all in all its a great day to be a talker and to be Fala.

let’s also not forget those who have been banned (sitaji majina) several times but yet find their way back to this village, hongera kwao for their undying love for the village
at first i was skeptical the village would have “exponential potential”…

This same issue if my memory serves me right has never been conclusively resolved. It caused a furore that led to the leaving of prominent members of the village and the place has been poorer for it. The administration might pass it off as being of no consequence but it is.
Which leads me to ask, what was the criteria for awarding uwesmake the title of village sponsor. Was he the most deserving or why is it an isolated case?
And lastly do you know what is said of someone who repeatedly does the same thing but expects a different result?
Long live ktalk. ION what’s different between klost n ktalk because, in the former, folk would meet up and say do a donation of sorts but it’s unheard of in these streets…
I don’t see anything positive to celebrate until the 2/3 gender rule is met even in the administration block!
