if government has resonable cause to shuku the content of your messages, all they need is a court order and facebook will avail the details on the double

I don’t think so. Kwanza Facebook informs you in case gova is trying to hack your account. On whatsapp, messages are not stored on whatsapp servers but on users phones. So to get whatsapp messages govt must have access to your phone (after breaking through the security set of course)
guess someone has been waithing for somebody to revise the documents from colonial times yet nobody is doing it…
