My attention has been drawn to the fact that some villagers, just a few, have deserted Ktalk for some other abode.
Let me say, at the onset, that this is their Constitutional right. As free people in a democratic country, nobody can stop them from doing that.
I, however, consider it morally and ethically unacceptable to desert your home of the last two years at the slightest hint of trouble. I have always believed that trying to improve ones circumstances is always better than fleeing. When you flee, you can easily drown in a cyberspace Mediterranean (sic), or worse. In any case, what makes you think that where you are going will be better or warmer?
With this in mind, I want to humbly suggest to Talkers to help build this village to what we all want it to be. Let us all work to build an institution, siyo kuhamahama kama our clueless politicians from party to party. That shows a fickle person.
On his/her part, @admin and Mods should always be ready to take in constructive suggestions on board. They should communicate their decisions in a timely, polite manner, and cease and desist, for example, explaining deletions of posts and comments with “Because I can” - this is high-handed and uncalled for.
So, folks, let join together to build a forum where we can laugh, cry, exchange news, meet mates (hi @aviator, sweetie), educate each other, etc etc!
Asanteni sana, na Mungu awabariki!
