Churches have no place in the circumcision custom. But many church goers think churches are everything so they don’t question them. This is not wise because churches have only been in Kenya for 90 years but circumcision custom has been carried out for more than 500 years, maybe even more.
Trying to talk this sense to a church adherent is like playing Luigi Boccherinis Minuetto to a rat. 
Churches are the biggest enemy of the kikuyu as a community. They have been held by the balls by crooked pastors such that they can’t question any decision.
