The New York City Police Department on Friday released shocking video of a masked suspect shooting repeatedly at a man and narrowly missing two children.
Footage shows the person tackling the two children to the ground as the gunman approaches and opens fire. He appeared to strike the frantic man at least twice as the children ducked in and out of the crossfire.
The NYPD said the incident occurred in broad daylight on Thursday at 1551 Sheridan Ave. in the Bronx and that none of the children were struck by gunfire.

The man was later said to be 24 years old, while the children, a boy and a girl, were 5 and 10, respectively, law enforcement told PIX 11. The 24-year-old was hit in the back and both legs, and police indicated that he is in “stable” condition.

And the US has very strong rules about building fences if everyone else does not have one. In many parts, the Home Owners Association will force you to move out and buy elsewhere. And in places like Texas, such an action is enforced by deed agreements that you must sign before buying a house in a specific place

Some of the richest neighborhoods are in Hollywood. There’s hardly any gated community. Most rich people live in open streets. You are confusing Kenya and US.

All of which are in California. Which has a history of gated communities, most of which like in Florida ,are middle class communities ,not wealthy ones or retirement communities. A quick check on whether the richest areas of Houston (Piney Point), Chicago (Lincoln Park, Near North Side) or New York(The Hamptons) shows no gated communities though the areas around the Hamptons do have a few.
Even Orange County, home to Malibu has like 3 out of like over 100 communities that are gated.
Even Bezos and Gates do not live in a gated community, though their houses do have gates
