Though the story is different, this was in South Africa Mpumalanga and dude was stealing copper wires from a substation.
The unidentified South African, who appears to be in his teens, was seen with horrific burns covering most of his upper body following the incident in the outskirts of the city of Witbank in north-western Mpumalanga Province.
With his terrible injuries clearly visible, the young man says he is in agony and begs passers-by to take him to the hospital - but he is cruelly told to walk if he wants treatment.
The burns victim then walked to a nearby health clinic, where an ambulance was called - but he is understood to have died hours later.

Uliona wale wasee wawili wa KPLC??? You could think you could see a skeleton shape inside the spark…kama zile za cartoons mtu akipigwa stima.
was he taken to the hospital…and was he eventually discharged?
He was put on a Pylonol drip. Works wonders.
After such a fall he seemed so well grounded.
Hehehe.
That’s why one should always be down to Earth.
Watt??
Honestly guys? What was the homeboy doing up there?
He didn’t survive… died later in hospital because no one wanted to take the thief to hospital immediately.
HAH!
nice
There was an argument kwa site flani na mzito mmoja wa izi maneno akaexplain kwamba sio volts huua mtu ni amperes…the higher the amperes the deadlier the shock/burns. Wazito wa stima si msupport ii argument.
