When Igathe becomes Sonkos running mate it is not by accident, neither is the expectations we had on Dr. Kidero. Some positions needs experience and a certain skill set other than plain leadership and talking using a loudspeaker like Baba Yao.
If you’ve seen the doors of an institution of higher learning whether it’s for Home Science or Nuclear Physics you will realize you have a broader mind set than someone who finished at class 8 or Form 4 once you leave.
There are outstanding guys who never went past high school but hard to come by.
Huh? Year?
I think in General a graduate may have a broader mindset. But there are some very forward thinking high school drop outs.

Acha kujichocha sana Kaka. Those were guys who had it tough in their respective courses and got dropped. No guarantee they would excel in a Maths or statistics course. I can assure you that Maths in engineering course is way tougher than in statistics or pure maths. Whereas the later simply learns to evaluate problems in calculus, the former applies calculus to solve or design problems in thermodynamics.
I concur with you for many years Kenya did not value the technologist and have paid heavily. We needed the technology regulator just like in engineering
:eek::eek::eek:
:D:D:D
I might be wrong but there was some legislation late last year that centered around creating The Technologists Board of Kenya similar to EBK am not sure if it’s constituted yet but it was long overdue
It’s there and working now, the government has many agencies which they ought to have serious civic education to create public awareness
