Grace Aluma was a Ugandan woman who arrived in Kenya in 1982 masquerading as a billionaire uranium dealer who was out to cut deals on behalf of the US government.
Using fake documents she was able to convince and con politicians organisations and Diplomats a significant amount of money by promising them lucrative business deals.
Her victims included Hon Fred Omido ,Bahati Mp who was conned a huge amount of money ,Swissair ,Kenya Commercial Bank ,Westlands Motors and a UN consultant .
Aluma was only discovered when she was about to sell international life house to a foreign Embassy in Nairobi

Did Bahati constituency get renamed Makadara constituency later on? My home was Makadara constituency and Fred Omido was the MP for Makadara having defeated Kihara Waithaka in a tough election.
