Governor 001

In an effort to appear relevant in national politics, governor 001 issued a statement yesterday.
Joho 2022.

Nkt!

So which hospital has been tasked with treatment and counseling of the girls who were raped? Can they release the results of DNA tests of semen found on the girls, which has been matched with officers who were assigned to this area on said day?

on a scale of 1 to 10, how difficult is it to just assess his words without trying to read other motives? How pertinent are the issues raised?

I can give you my semen if you wish

I addressed one.

We are a few days into this and a rape-kit takes mere HOURS to give results needed to identify the rapist. We are very fortunate, in this unfortunate situation, that we can narrow down on the exact suspects and counter-test the DNA found on the girls who were raped. Why has no on come forward with a list saying, “hey, we have this DNA from 34 rape-kits and the forces that be have denied us access to their personnel who were assigned to UON that day. this is the reason why we cant conduct the final match-test to say who did what”?

I, personally, am invested in the rape-angle of this issue. I mean, its basically “Investigation 101”.

Kwani whats wrong with Joho?

So what you are saying is that

  1. a coastal leader in general and Gov 001 in particular should not issue press releases to share his opinion and concerns on issues of national importance to the people of Mombasa even though there may be families there who have their sons and daughters in UON

2)A coastal leader in general and Gov 001 in particular should habour no ambition whatsoever to contest in the presidential elections of 2022 because it’s a preserve and right of particular communities excluding everyone from the coastal region

This is assuming that cops don’t try to protect one of their own. Never going to happen.

Rape is a degrading, humiliating and traumatic experience…without support most rape victims would not report and seek treatment…and by the time they do all traces of DNA evidence would be degraded…and how would you even report a gang rape assault to the same policemen who gang raped you

No, I meant why now, all along he has been silent and blind to national issues, but suddenly coz of his presidential aspirations his eyes have opened.
Expect more of this from him and word of advice, the coast region needs its own party for better bargaining power.

A holier than thou attitude! This guy wants to pretend he’s not aware of what his goons are doing in Msa. He would be better off tackling the drug usage disaster that is ravaging the youth of Msa.

If I had an issue with your post, I would have tagged you, or quoted your post. Be cool sister!

lol, calm down, stop and read @vnv I’M SURE THEY DIDN’T CARRY CONDOMS TO THIS THING AND THEY CERTAINLY DIDN’T HAVE TIME TO SLIP ON CONDOMS BEFORE RAPING THE GIRLS.

THE. SEMEN. WAS. LEFT. ON. THE. VICTIMS.

THE. RAPES. WERE. REPORTED. ON. THE. SAME. DAY.

RIGHT?

Where are the rape-kits taken after the reports were made? The semen needed for a rape-kit is found on the victim. I am not even asking for the DNA from the officers. I am asking for evidence that we did the tests and that we are now stuck at the stage where we cannot conduct further tests because the hospital charged with taking these rape-kits is being denied access by those in charge of the personnel who wee at UON that day.

You handle a problem in stages. You cannot tackle the thing at once.

  1. Girls were raped
  2. We received the reports as a police department/school administration
  3. We immediately took these girls to a hospital where rape-kits were conducted
  4. We have results from the rape-kits
  5. Can we please have some cooperation from the govt of kenya to assist us to identify their personnel who were at UON on the day these girls were raped so we can run tests to see if any of their DNA matches that found on the assaulted girls?
  6. Can we expect the kenyan govt to prosecute those whose DNA is matched with that of the results on the rape-kits?
  7. bla bla bla bla

If cops want to hide the rapists they will. Unless another body which oversees cops handles the investigations nothing will happen. Nowhere in the world do cops rat on each other. They know the tricks used to make criminals rat on each other so they won’t fall for it. You can just change the records of who was at the riots that day if you wanted.

You’re generalizing.

This particular instance was a same-day thing. You can recover evidence within 24 Hours (unless the victim takes a bath, which, why?) The day was barely over before we had reports of girls being raped.

Even if we pretend that it was completely impossible to take rape-kits from 40 girls (lol), how can we not narrow down this issue and just petition the govt to bring in the personnel who were present for the girls to identify them? Why are we not coming up with a way to find these rapists? Why are we content with saying that children were raped and not looking any further than that? Are we perhaps trying to further another agenda? In which case, we are no better than the rapists because we’re using these girls for our own gratification!

I mean, my main issue here is that no one is looking for a solution or a way to begin the process of ANYTHING. We are focusing on one small part of the problem and have completely refused to look at anything else.
