The pyrethrum market collapsed due to the development and production of synthetic pyrethroids which outcompeted the natural pyrethrins from pyrethrum. But as the world today goes green and organic, there is a huge demand for natural pyrethrins and kenya which has been the world leading producer since the colonial times is poised to benefit immensely.

There was nothing wrong with Ohuru or any other hard working kenyan having a beer or two jioni baada ya kazi. All successful people do it. The difference between Uhuru and Kathiongo is that Uhuru was a good manager while kathiongo is not. A good manager hires the best talent and leads the team to achieve the set objectives within set deadlines. That is why in 3yrs Uhuru was commissioning completed projects like SGR, roads etc. On the other hand a foolish and incompetent manager like kathiongo believes he is the one who should be doing everything and so he runs around all over the place (kutangatanga) all the time trying to do everything and ends up achieving nothing. That is why at this time when his WANTAM is ending he is still busy running around still promising, planning, kutenga, kuweka mikakati, launching projects that will never take off.

Well, micromanagement is a surefire sign of lack of trust, which explains the high turnover in this government. It’s almost like nobody knows that people don’t work well under pressure, duress, threats, intimidation, lies or any other negative circumstance.
