Paying the real owners of the aircrafts. All KQ does is lease the planes.
Govt should move out of business ,but off course as noted above, who owns the planes ?

The pandora expert is working buana
Uhuru amefanya ka… Gerrarahia
And it can keep making loses to Kenyan’s but not to them
Yaani, instead of privatizing this shi.t they prefer year and year hard earned Kenyans tax money to go down the drain pit.
So government will burn 26 billion at KQ but won’t send capitation for Egerton university students? Uhuru is another thief just like Sugoi.
I don’t think that the government’s stake exceeds 30%, majority of KQ ordinary shares are held privately, preferential shares are held by NCBA and KCB whose debt has been converted to equity.
So in principle KQ is a private company and not a parastatal
so they are now blaming covid for the failure of KQ? OK
23 kq planes ni za akina nani… Wanalease
The main business of a business is to provide profits for shareholders. Whatever it takes. If you pay taxes, don’t watch them end up in pockets of wise people. Buy some shares there and be a beneficiary of every loot from taxpayers.
My local mama mboga makes more profit than KQ, so why doesn’t government support her yet she makes more profit?
The minister shamelessly does not indicate if the money is to be paid back to the taxpayers after the so called reforms at the airline work.
We know who owns the jets leased to.KQ and why they continue making losses.
