Gov Mike Sonko - Launch of construction Kayole estate roads starting with Matopeni Road

Earlier today the construction of roads outside the CBD started in Kayole estate where our engineers started recarpeting of the busy Matopeni road which is crucial link road in the area.

I’m appealing for patience from Nairobi residents as we strive to fix the dilapidated roads in Nairobi even as we wait for more funds in order to cover all areas that are in need of our attention.

The words ‘our engineers’ shouldn’t be appearing anywhere in Sonko’s post.
Those are city county repair men left to their own devices.

What’s the difference? Can’t Sonko construct a proper quality road with proper sidewalks and markings instead of this PR roads.

Sidewalks might not be feasible because the road reserve in such places is too small.
