Gov Laboso - Launching of Marinyin Dairy cooperative society cooling plant in Ndaraweta ward Bomet county

I appreciate Gov. Laboso for spending more time to tend to the peoples needs than noise. Equipping several dairy Sacco’s with cooling plant means the farmers avoid wastage from spoilt milk and they earn more revenues. It worked in Muranga and now it will work in Bomet.

I officially launched Marinyin Dairy Cooperative Society cooling plant in Ndaraweta ward today. I encourage farmers to sell their milk through cooperative societies for them to get higher prices for their produce. We will assist the farmers to market their produce

So will raw milk be collected, inspected, cooled then sold at Ksh. 100 per litre ? But being bought at Ksh 35 per kilo ?

The only hope is for this dairy to sell its own brand of milk (and milk products).
