Zambezi Falls. You get more bang for buck since cost of stuff is way lower compared to Egypt
Don’t take a boat you won’t enjoy, falls are everywhere in Kenya and the rest of the world, but pyramid are only in Egypt
Dude it’s Zambezi Falls. Not Thompson Falls. Plus remember you also have additional costs of partying, buying souvenirs, slices maybe.
1500 is little cash. The trick is to check only where you can get a direct flight as it will be cheaper and stay at an Airbnb. Airfare may be cheaper to Egypt.
Plus go on a weekend. Preferably arrive on Thurs. There is a time I made a mistake and traveled on a Sun to some country. No clubbing or partying nikalearn from experience.

Your nightmare starts at the airport in Cairo: chaotic, male-dominated and absolutely illiterate to foriegn visitors. Hustlers at the pyramids will try to rip you off whichever way they can, peddling rides in scrawny horses and camels. Fake perfume sellers all over, most females in black ninja gear and armed police at every corner, 100 times more corrupt than Urumishi.
Through it all, the uncivilzed Egyptians will refer to you as Blackie, and plain kaffir in the worst cases.

That’s a long bus ride. I’d suggest breaking up your trip. Spend at least a day in the big cities you transit through.
