I am very much surprised why in Africa only Nigeria, SA, Senegal and Kenya are well covered by street view. Even our jirani TZ ni picha tu siwezi tembea Daresalam kama vile naweza tembea Bondo. What information can one get from this? Security ama foreign policies?

It is becoming my part time activity to take a wal anywhere in the world, it can also tell you where you should not got to in some town, if it is not covered, leave it alone. Like in Lagos kuna mahali iliwacha but I guess ni zile slums zao.

I think some countries refuse to permit coverage for security reasons eg china has no coverage. Hata germany wameweka juzi tu.

Street view for mainland China is primarily accessed through Chinese mapping services like Baidu Maps and Tencent Maps, as Google Street View coverage is very limited due to national regulations and use of the GCJ-02 coordinate system. I haven’t come around to using street view properly. yenye napenda ni exploring new roads and biking through them.been to amazing places even around my home hivo

You should try google earth. It’s a lot better for exploration

You should try google earth. It’s a lot better for exploration

Google Earth has that 3D View where you can have a pilots view of the world, and can literally simulate flying. Another feature I loved was ability to measure distances easily. Been awhile since I used it I guess wameimprove zaidi
