If you go to Google’s homepage on your comp, and you search for “Google in 1998” Google itachange ikae kama hiyo design ya 1998.

Probably the best thing that happened. Had yahoo bought google, google would be nothing it is today. It probably would have disappeared into yahoos search.
Yahoo is a poorly run company. Amazing they survive today.

I’ve seen this statement thrown around often. Implying that if Yahoo bought Google, it would now be worth ‘its worth + Google’.
Far from the truth.
They would probably have killed it to protect Yahoo. Or taken a very different route in administration. For instance they probably would not have bought Android, YouTube etc… or started Gmail.

It is very likely that even if Yahoo bought Google, it would still be on its deathbed.
