Goodbye safcom

Today, i have decided to officially ditch my safcom line which i have faithfully used for 13 years. This is after loading MBs and they disappeared haraka…ni kama nilikuwa nimebuy 5 mbs. How i like equitel…cheap, long lasting bundles…and when their systems crash…free unlimited internet…

Am sure Saf will be just fine. If you use Android then it’s likely that sync, play store, Google stats and location reports, etc used up your MBs before you could.

I use a twin Sim phone. One line is safcom. If I have bundles on that line and deactivate data, the bundles end up dissappearing. I kept complaining to Safaricom and they kept telling me the same bullshit about background apps consuming data bundles. How would they do that if the line isn’t active for data. It’s pure theft and nowadays I only load bundles on the line for a
particular task.

Won’t be long before you ask us how to do some stuff using the same saf line. Tumezoea wale hupenda kulialia.

Saf is right. background apps consume more than you might think. Take a look at this pic. The apps in colour are the ones I actually use for data related stuff. And even the ones that I use still consume data in the background. And also if you don’t use your safcom data it will expire in 7 days/30 days/3 months.
