you are missing the point,did you ever make wooden go-carts, who thought about shoes, all that mattered was finishing the damn thing and heading to the nearest slope with the other village kids so that you can find out who owns the fasted go-cart

Back in my younger days I dislocated my right shoulder after I lost control of my go-kart and plunged into a local river. Funny thing is Mum gave me a hot slap before taking me to the hospital.

boys will always be boys, guess we had become immune to the beating, we would be racing down a dusty path which also doubled as the village super highway, woe unto you if you happened to run into the grown ups and loose footing, you would get several slaps then get reported to your mum to receive the second phase of thrashing

True… The second beating was always far worse than the first… Nowadays things have completely changed… I remember when I was in roysambu boys used to climb to the roof of my neighbors Toyota starlet… Jamaa akawatime siku moja wakiwa juu akawanyorosha. One of the kids fetched his mum wakakuja naye akiwa amewaka moto. The mum kept asking Jamaa kama amewahi zaa mtoto… Dude got mad akamuuliza ka amewahi nunua gari… Jamaa alikuwa anataka kutandika mama na mtoto but mawatchie wakaingilia. MI nilikiwa najisikia kuelekea huyo mtoi makofi but anyway NOMB.
